SUMMARY:OD Chat Group: Put Love to Work: The Business Case for a Bold New Culture Strategy
DESCRIPTION:What if the most important frontier of workplace culture isn’t just innovation\, artificial intelligence\, and agility\, but love? \nAt a time when the prevailing culture has produced widespread disconnection\, disengagement\, and burnout\, a new\, high-impact opportunity emerges: make love\, not fear\, the foundation of your leadership and culture strategy. \nRenee Smith\, MSOD\, grounds this session in primary qualitative research with more than 90 leaders and employees across industries\, integrated with insights from neuroscience\, behavioral psychology\, and organizational change. This is applied work: designed for HR and L&D professionals\, OD consultants and teams\, coaches\, and graduate researchers who want a clear evidence base and tools they can put to use. \nRenée shares evidence of the costs of fear-based culture on individuals\, teams\, organizations\, and the people they serve. She contrasts this with case studies from government agencies\, social service organizations\, and corporate teams whose cultures pair trust and courage with results and meaning. \nYou’ll leave with a practical framework for building a culture of belonging\, a set of specific practices you can apply in your own organization or practice\, and the research foundation to make the case to others. \nThis session doesn’t ask you to be soft or permissive. Quite the opposite! You’ll be challenged to be brave and bold enough to lead with love. \nLearning Objectives:\n\nRecognize how fear-based norms and behaviors quietly shape workplace culture and erode engagement\, inclusion\, and well-being. Identify where these patterns show up in your own organization or client work.\nUnderstand the research-backed case for love-centered leadership and culture\, and apply a practical framework for embedding compassion\, respect\, and psychological safety into leadership behaviors and organizational systems.\nExamine real-world case studies of love-based cultures and leave with a personalized action plan of practices you can implement to strengthen connection\, trust\, and team performance.\n\nConnect with Renée: https://www.linkedin.com/in/reneesmith-ahumanworkplace/ \nRegister for this Event\n\n\n \n \n OD Chat Group September Meeting\n \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Enter Email\n \n \n \n Confirm Email\n \n \n \n PhoneOrganizationJob TitleHow did you hear about this event?Social MediaGoogleWord of MouthRefer a FriendPast ParticipantOther\n Submit

SUMMARY:OD Chat Group: Can Organization Development Keep Pace with AI?
DESCRIPTION:An OD Dialogue with Dr. Claudy Jules\nAI is transforming decision-making\, work coordination\, and value creation within organizations. For organization development (OD) practitioners\, the challenge reaches beyond learning new tools. It calls for a fresh look at how we understand organizational health\, human judgment\, and our own role as advisors. \nJoin the OD Chat Group for an engaging discussion with Dr. Claudy Jules\, an organizational strategist and independent advisor with a distinguished career in leadership roles at Google\, McKinsey\, Accenture\, and Flagship Pioneering. \nDr. Jules brings together three often-separated areas: foundational OD practice\, AI-enabled ways of working\, and the capital and investor forces shaping organizational priorities. \nThis will be a practitioner-to-practitioner conversation\, grounded in the pressing questions and contexts many of us face today: \n\nOrganizational health in an AI-enabled workplace: Which foundational OD practices are essential as frontier technologies transform work dynamics?\nHuman judgment and expertise: What must practitioners understand and contribute when AI can produce frameworks\, analysis\, and recommendations?\nAdoption through daily operations: Why do standalone capability-building efforts often have limited impact\, and what strategies enable teams to seamlessly integrate new capabilities into their operating rhythm?\nThe future of independent OD consulting: How can practitioners evolve their methods\, demonstrate business value\, and enhance the trust clients place in their services??\n\nWe will also explore Dr. Jules’s psychodynamic perspective on organizations\, focusing on the underlying patterns in governance\, decision rights\, leadership dynamics\, and operating models that affect performance.. \nThis session is for organizational consultants\, executive coaches\, change practitioners\, and leaders who want to align (or embed) enduring OD principles with the realities of tech-forward enterprises\, AI transformation\, and value creation. \nOne idea will run through the conversation: the future of OD depends on strengthening human judgment while integrating AI into how organizations operate. \nDate: Thursday\, August 27\nTime: 3:00–4:30 p.m. Pacific\nFormat: Live virtual conversation \nRegister for This Event\n\n \n \n OD Chat Group August Meeting\n \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Enter Email\n \n \n \n Confirm Email\n \n \n \n PhoneOrganizationJob TitleHow did you hear about this event?Social MediaGoogleWord of MouthRefer a FriendPast ParticipantOther\n Submit \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nCurrent OD Chat Group members are encouraged to join the conversation. SUMMARY:OD Chat Group: Burnout Isn't an Individual Failure. It's a Leadership Condition.
DESCRIPTION:Most burnout work asks the wrong question: what’s wrong with this person? Dr. Joey Collins\, clinical psychologist\, executive coach\, and founder of Collins Alliance\, spent the last year studying burnout in professional services. The data points elsewhere: 72% of leaders in his national study of accounting professionals are at risk or already burning out. That’s not a wellness gap. It’s a leadership gap. \nIn the OD Chat Group July 30th\, Joey will walk us through the research behind his Firm Burnout Profile\, unpack the WAVE model for reading a team’s real-time climate\, and share field-tested tools for leaders who are already in it. Not more prevention theory\, but the practicalities of what to actually do in the first 72 hours when a client team is burning out. \nExpect a working session: short on lecture\, heavy on application. We’ll dig into the material together\, and you’ll leave with tools you can use with clients the next day. \nPre-work: a crisis pack Joey built for leaders mid-burnout will be shared with you when you register. Go through it as if you were the client. It’s a quick\, honest way to feel what your clients feel when they open something like this. It’ll shape a lot of what we do on the 30th. \nAbout Dr. Joey Collins\nDr. Joey A. Collins\, Psy.D.\, is a clinical psychologist\, executive coach\, and founder of Collins Alliance. He maintains a botique clinical practice alongside his consulting work\, giving him a ground-level view of what chronic workplace stress actually does to people\, not just what the research says about it. He is also a co-founder of the I-O Doctorate and MA programs at Seattle Pacific University (SPU).\nOver the past year\, Joey and his research team has been studying burnout in the accounting profession\, developing the Firm Burnout Profile and the WAVE model for reading team climate in real time. His work reframes burnout as a leadership condition rather than an individual failing and gives leaders concrete tools to act on that shift\, not just a framework to think about it. He’s currently writing his second book\, When Work Doesn’t Work\, which extends this research into a broader look at organizational burnout. \n\n \n \n July 2026 OD Chat Group Registration\n \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Phone (optional)Place of Residence(Required) \n \n \n AfghanistanÅland IslandsAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCabo VerdeCambodiaCameroonCanadaCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCôte d'IvoireCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRéunionRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTürkiyeTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUS Minor Outlying IslandsUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabwe\n Country\n \n \n \n Register for Chat Group

SUMMARY:OD Chat Group - Featuring Arielle Sullivan
DESCRIPTION:Be sure to sign up for the June 11 OD Chat Group; Arielle Sullivan is our speaker. Arielle is a regenerative systems consultant\, group facilitator\, and founder of Conscious Transformation Agents. Her work sits at the intersection of organization development\, network development\, and living systems thinking. \nMany practitioners are aware that existing paradigms around leading change aren’t working very well. We hear the weariness in our employees’ voices as change occurs more rapidly and more extensively than ever before. \nArielle asks difficult questions like\, “Where are we going? What new mindsets are emerging? How will you cope?” What if leadership were defined by the quality and quantity of trust-based relationships present within the system? \nShe discusses these questions and presents a new mindset about an organization’s inherent value and role in the service of a regenerative future\, where employees\, communities\, and organizations are thriving in their own development and self-evolution\, through a process of Regenerative OD. \nLearn what would need to change to truly enable every part of your organization to adapt and evolve regardless of positional power and hierarchy. \nJoin us on June 11th at 3:00 PM\, Pacific Time to talk with Arielle\, as she shares her thoughts about Regenerative OD and the future of change leadership. \n\n \n \n OD Chat Group June Meeting\n \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Enter Email\n \n \n \n Confirm Email\n \n \n \n PhoneOrganizationJob TitleHow did you hear about this event?Social MediaGoogleWord of MouthRefer a FriendPast ParticipantOther\n Submit
