Alan Landers

Alan Landers is the Founder and CEO of the Institute for Transformative Change (ITC), a global OD consultancy with 16 consultants across the United States and partners in five countries. He has been an OD practitioner for over 47 years. ITC’s history begins in 1989 when Alan first became an independent consultant and has evolved from a one-person shop to the firm it is today, earning recognition by Manage HR magazine as one of the country’s Top Ten Change Management firms in 2021, 2022, and 2024. Before becoming an independent consultant, Alan held positions of VP of Training and SVP of Organization Effectiveness. Alan is a past president of ATD San Diego and founder of the OD Chat group (an international OD group with over 400 members).

In 2018, Alan partnered with the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management to create and deliver a global OD and Change Leadership certificate program. Alan’s client list includes many Fortune 500 companies from over 30 industries. Alan has consulted with government agencies, hospitals, universities, manufacturers, nonprofits, hospitality firms, high tech, and financial institutions domestically and abroad.

He has presented executive-level seminars at prominent universities across the country and conducted training workshops for hundreds of consultants for the Institute for Management Consultants, Global People Strategies in Malaysia, the Drucker Institute in China, and the Blackbird Training Center, UK. He is currently a member and secretary of the REACH Foundation’s Board of Directors.
